BMO Capital Markets has won an International M&A Award from The M&A Advisor for its role in a complicated transaction that saw AtomRedMetZoloto (ARMZ), the Russian state uranium mining company, increase its ownership in Uranium One from ~19.9% to ~51%. BMO Capital Markets Economics placed within the Top 10 of global banks and ahead of all other Canadian banks in the 2010 Reuters Foreign Exchange accuracy poll.
