Investment Banking Associates
As an Investment Banking associate, you will be engaged in managing the execution of all key aspects of client transactions. Specific responsibilities may include qualitative and quantitative financial modeling, corporate finance strategy development, industry & capital markets research, ensuring that all material is accurate and complete, participating in client meetings, and preparing pitch books to support ongoing business development initiatives.

Corporate Banking Associates
As a Corporate Banking associate, you will join a sector relationship management team and have direct account responsibility for a diverse portfolio of public and private middle-market companies. You will bring new ideas to clients by recommending ancillary banking products, including treasury management, interest rate hedging, foreign exchange and private banking. Other responsibilities may include structuring and underwriting new clients, modeling, understanding current market and industry conditions to identify the optimal capital structure for each client, risk analysis and performing due diligence.

M&A Associates
As an M&A associate at BMO Capital Markets, you will work under the direction of senior professionals on strategic transactions and valuations for public and private companies that may include the sale or acquisition of other companies or specific assets, spin-offs and restructurings. In addition, you will be responsible for performing industry and client-specific research and assembling client presentations. As a result, you will develop a strong skill set for analyzing financial statements, gain exposure to executive management teams and develop an understanding of other investment banking products beyond M&A. An M&A associate can expect to work on a mix of live transactions and new business development pitches in a variety of industries.
