John has responsibility for the management and delivery of the global human resource strategies, functions and programs for BMO Capital Markets.

He began his career at BMO Financial Group as a Senior Consultant, Executive Resources, Human Resources, and has held a number of senior human resources roles, including Director and HR Business Partner, Corporate Areas and Risk Management.

Previously, John was a Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young in their Human Resources consulting practice, where he worked primarily with entrepreneurial clients on a variety of strategic HR issues. He joined BMO Financial Group in 1999.

John holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Policy from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
