Halyard is a private equity fund focused on investing in media, communications and business services companies. The Fund specializes in middle-market leveraged buyouts, growth equity and structured equity investments.

The Halyard fund was formed as a wholly-owned affiliate of BMO Financial Group in May 2000, and now operates independently of BMO Financial Group.

BMO Financial Group continues to invest in Halyard and has committed up to USD 150 million of capital in Halyard Capital Fund II, which is expected to have an initial close in the near future.
