Paul A. Hawkinson

Paul is Managing Director and Sector Head of BMO Capital Markets Industrials Group. He has devoted his entire banking career to the Industrials sector, providing M&A, equity and leveraged finance coverage to strategic and financial sponsor platforms in the general industrial, auto, truck, and broader vehicular sectors. Most recently, he served as Managing Director, Global Industries Group at Banc of America Securities in Chicago. Previous to that, Paul spent nearly 10 years at Deutsche Banc Securities and predecessor firms BT Alex Brown and BT Securities Corporation. Prior to banking, Paul served as a senior member of the financial services team at Deloitte & Touche in Chicago. He joined BMO Capital Markets in 2007.

Paul holds an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from North Park College in Chicago.

Edward P. McGuire

Edward is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Industrials Group, where he specializes in the transportation sector. He has over 21 years of experience arranging leveraged finance, M&A transactions, asset securitizations and project financings for BMO Capital Markets. While with the firm, Edward arranged over USD 1 billion in transactions within the Transportation Group. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, he was the Chief Financial Officer of a privately held, Chicago-based, general equipment leasing company.

Edward has both an MBA in accounting and finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Matthew Anderson

Matt provides financing and M&A advisory services to both domestic and international clients with a global sector focus on the coal and industrial minerals industries. Matt has over twelve years of investment banking experience and has worked on a range of transactions including advising both public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings and opinions. Before joining BMO Capital Markets in 2006, Matt worked for another investment bank advising companies on M&A transactions and also brings experience from another global investment bank. Matt earned a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University.

William J. Thomson

Bill is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Industrials Group where he focuses on corporate and investment banking for middle-market transportation clients and private equity groups.  Bill has completed numerous transactions in the railroad, logistics, trucking, marine, auto, and school bus industries.  Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Bill worked for Deutsche Bank. He joined BMO Capital Markets in 2000.

Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Illinois State University

Eric Reuther

Eric Reuther is a Vice President in the Industrials Group of BMO Capital Markets where he focuses on marketing and executing investment banking products for Aerospace & Defense and Transportation companies. His transaction experience includes sale mandates, buy-side advisory services, as well as debt and equity financings. He began his career in 1998 in the First National Bank of Chicago’s First Scholar program and spent time at LECG, LLC, a corporate valuation practice, and Wachovia Securities, an investment bank, before joining BMO Capital Markets in 2005.

Eric holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Econometrics from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
