David M. Rubin

David is a Managing Director and Head of the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate and Construction Group. David has been with BMO Capital Markets for 25 years. He helped establish the Bank's U.S. real estate practice in 1984, which he has headed up since 1992. In addition to a focus on the real estate and construction industries, David has extensive experience across several areas of corporate finance. Over the course of his career David has been involved in corporate and project financing transactions totaling several billion dollars throughout the United States and Canada.

David is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds graduate degrees from Harvard University and University of Chicago. David is a member of the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and International Council of Shopping Centers. He is a NASD Registered Representative of BMO Capital Markets (NASD Series 7, 24, and 63).

Thomas A. Batterham

Tom is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate and Construction Group. He is responsible for the Group’s lending business including structuring and execution of complex syndicated and bilateral transactions. Tom has over 22 years of real estate and corporate finance experience. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Tom held senior positions at Sumitomo Bank and Comerica Bank. Tom joined BMO Capital Markets in 1997.

Tom has an MBA from Indiana University and is a graduate of the University of Illinois. Tom is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Greg K. Steele

Greg is a Director in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate & Construction Group. Greg joined BMO Capital Markets in 1997, and since then has had a leading role in developing BMO’s relationship with numerous real estate investment trusts, real estate private equity funds and other major owners and developers of real estate. He has over 25 years experience in real estate and corporate finance, including corporate and project financings, public debt and equity offerings, and private placements totaling several billion dollars. Prior to joining BMO, Greg held senior real estate and corporate finance positions with two large North American financial institutions, and was based in the U.S. , Canada and Europe.

Greg earned B. Sc and MBA degrees from McGill University in Montreal and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Corey Chisnell

Corey is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate and Construction Group. Corey brings 16 years of financial services expertise primarily to the real estate industry. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Corey was a Principal, in the real estate investment banking practice at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc. where he was responsible for the transaction execution of public debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and private placements, specifically within the real estate industry. Previous to working at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc., Corey was responsible for business origination and transaction execution for the sports investment banking group at Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. Prior to Legg Mason, Corey worked in the real estate investment banking group at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. Corey joined BMO Capital Markets in 2008.

Corey has an MBA from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Pension Real Estate Association. He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Pension Real Estate Association. He is a NASD-registered representative of BMO Capital Markets (series 7).

Aaron S. Lanski

Aaron is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate Group. Aaron has over 12 years experience in corporate banking and real estate. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, he held senior positions at Bank One after beginning his career at Consolidated Bank. Aaron joined BMO Capital Markets in 2000.

Aaron has an MBA from Nova Southeastern with a specialization in real estate development and management and is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Kevin F. Lawler

Kevin is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate Group. He is responsible for the administration and funding of the Group’s loan portfolio, including its construction loan business. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in banking and real estate. He also has over five years of experience in community economic development. Kevin joined BMO Capital Markets in 1994.

Kevin has a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Scott W. Morris

Scott is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate Group. Scott has 13 years of experience in banking and real estate finance. He previously held senior positions at IndyMac Bank after beginning his career at Bank of America. Scott joined BMO Capital Markets in 2004.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science in International Finance from the University of Southern California.

Stephan Richford

Stephan is a Vice President in the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate group where he focuses on public REITs, Non-listed REITs and private real estate vehicles. Prior to joining the group, Stephan worked for Trammell Crow and Studley. Stephan has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1999 and has worked on more than $1.5 billion of real estate and capital raising assignments on behalf of public, institutional, and private clients. Stephan joined BMO Capital Markets in 2006.

Stephan is a graduate off the University of Illinois and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a member of NAREIT, the Pension Real Estate Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. He is a NASD registered representative of BMO Capital Markets (series 7 and 63).
