Darryl White

Darryl White was appointed Head of Global Investment & Corporate Banking (I&CB) in 2012.

In this role, Darryl is responsible for all of BMO’s I&CB activities with corporate and government clients worldwide, encompassing equity and debt underwriting, corporate lending and project financing, and mergers and acquisitions advisory services.

Darryl has been advising the firm’s clients with financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions for many years. He joined BMO Capital Markets in 1994 and served in various practices in Toronto including the M&A, Diversified Industries and Communications & Technology Groups, prior to being appointed Head of I&CB Montreal in 2006. He also served as co-head of the firm’s Media & Communication practice. In 2010, Darryl was appointed Deputy Head, Investment & Corporate Banking Canada and Global Head, Equity Capital Markets.

Darryl currently serves on the BMO Capital Markets Operating, Executive and Management committees. He has also served on the boards of various community and philanthropic causes and is a Director of the Montreal Canadiens.

Darryl is a past recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award and a Dean’s Honor list graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey Business School.

Perry Hoffmeister

Perry is Head of U.S. Investment & Corporate Banking. He is a member of the BMO Capital Markets Executive Committee and also Chair of the U.S. I&CB Management Committee.

Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Perry was with Lehman Brothers for 21 years, and was Co-Head of Investment Banking for Europe and the Middle East. His previous positions with Lehman included Co-Head of the Global Communications Group, Head of the Global Communications and Media Investment Banking Groups, and Head of Investment Management, Europe and the Middle East. Perry was also a member of various Executive and Operating Committees at Lehman, including the Investment Banking Executive Committee for five years.

Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University in Applied Mathematics and Economics.

Peter Myers

Peter is Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Canada with additional responsibility for Europe & Australia. He is a member of the BMO Capital Markets Executive Committee. Peter previously had responsibility for the BMO Capital Markets Global Equity Capital Markets business, which he headed since joining BMO in 2002.

Peter started in the financial services industry in 1986 assuming various roles with increasing responsibility and leading to his role as Director and Head of Energy Investment Banking. He then started his Equity Capital Markets career in 1996, and prior to joining BMO was Head of Equity Capital Markets for a global investment dealer.

Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, joint honours program in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
