The Canadian Payments Association (CPA) operates two systems for the clearing and settlement of payments: the Automated Clearing Settlement System (ACSS) and the Large Value Transfer System (LVTS). These systems are operational and provide settlement to the CPA’s Direct Clearers and Direct Participants every day other than Saturdays, Sundays and the listed Canadian federal holidays.
