Darryl White

Darryl plays an integral part in the overall management of BMO’s investment and corporate banking business in Canada, as well as the execution of the firm’s operating strategy. He is also responsible for senior client relationship development and management of corporate, government and institutional clients. Previously, Darryl was Executive Managing Director with responsibility for coordination of the Investment & Corporate Banking efforts of BMO Capital Markets in Québec, and co-Head of the firm’s Media & Communications practice. Darryl has been advising the firm’s clients with financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions for many years. Prior to his role in Montreal he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Diversified Industries, and Communications & Technology groups within Investment & Corporate Banking in Toronto.

Darryl currently serves on the BMO Capital Markets Management Committee and its Investment & Corporate Banking Canadian Management Committee. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of St-Mary’s Hospital Foundation and the Montreal Canadiens.

Peter Miller

Peter is Head of Equity Capital Markets, Canada. He is responsible for developing equity market solutions for the firm's corporate clients. Previously, he spent five years with Salomon Smith Barney's investment bank in London UK, serving corporate clients in the paper and packaging industries throughout Europe. Peter began his investment banking career at Burns Fry in 1994 in M&A and then the Paper and Forest Products Group. He has completed a broad array of transactions in North America and Europe involving equity, M&A, investment grade and high yield debt, leverage finance and securitizations. Peter joined BMO Capital Markets in 2003.

Peter has an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering, and is a CFA Charterholder.

John Manning

John is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Equity Products group, where he specializes in syndication. He is responsible for managing the execution of all BMO Capital Markets led financing mandates. Prior to joining this group, John spent four years in the Investment & Corporate Banking group working on various financing and M&A assignments. In the financing area, he was involved in executing a U.S. debt private placement for Wajax Ltd., and in the initial public offerings of Canadian Medical Laboratories Ltd., FACS Records Storage Income Fund and IAT Air Cargo Facilities Income Fund. John’s M&A assignments include: working extensively on the Dominion Textile hostile defense mandate; the Meridian Technologies privatization transaction; Cara Operations' acquisition of Kelsey's International; and the fairness opinion relating to the acquisition by Ontario Teacher's of Cadillac Fairview. Before joining BMO Capital Markets, he worked for a major Canadian life insurance company. John joined BMO Capital Markets in 2000.

John is a graduate of both the MBA and Honours Bachelor of Arts programs at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

William Schreier

William is Executive Managing Director and Head of U.S. Equity Capital Markets for BMO Capital Markets. William is responsible for helping to originate equity financing transactions, as well as assisting clients in the identification, review and selection of optimal equity financing techniques and alternatives. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, William was a Senior Managing Director in CIBC World Markets' U.S. ECM group, where he helped to grow that firm’s franchise in the U.S., and also pioneered the introduction of certain higher equity yielding securities patterned after Canadian income trusts into the U.S. market. Previous to working at CIBC World Markets, he was a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers in New York, and was ECM department head at Bankers Trust/BT Securities. William began his ECM career at Morgan Stanley, where he first served as Senior Capital Markets Counsel, Legal Department. He began his professional career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, practicing corporate and securities law. William joined BMO Capital Markets in 2005.

William has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Lori Begley

Lori is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Equity Products group in New York. Her primary responsibility is to execute BMO Capital Markets lead and co-managed equity transactions. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Lori worked on the buy side at PaineWebber and Mitchell Hutchins. She joined Gerard Klauer Mattison, now part of BMO Capital Markets, in 1993.

Lori has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Peter's College. She was elected to the Women's Syndicate Association in 2001 and has served as President since 2007.

Philip Marchal

Philip is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Equity Products group, where he is responsible for the origination and execution of all equity offerings by the firm’s healthcare clients. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Philip was a Principal at ThinkEquity Partners and ran the firm’s PIPE and Private Placements group, focused on PIPEs and registered directs as well as equity placements for private companies. Before ThinkEquity, Philip worked for eight years at JPMorgan focusing on equity private placements for growth companies. Philip began his career with the U.S. Department of Commerce as an analyst investigating international trade disputes. Philip joined BMO Capital Markets in February 2006.

Philip has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins’ Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelors of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Phil Winiecki

Phil is a Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Equity Products group. He is responsible for originating and providing a full range of equity solutions to the firm’s corporate clients. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Phil spent ten years with Citigroup, where he gained experience in both the investment banking and capital markets areas. Phil focuses on meeting the needs of clients operating in the Real Estate, Consumer, Business Services, Agriculture, Health Care and Industrial sectors. Corporations he has successfully raised capital for include Intrepid Potash, CF Industries, Archer Daniels, Douglas Emmett, Ventas, Inland Real Estate, American Public Education, Tercica, Northfield Laboratories, Diamond Foods, Layne Christensen and Shaw Group.

Phil has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.
