Our TECHX comprises 82 companies, three more than last quarter. We removed xPlore Technology and Eiger Technologies, both of which were delisted from the TSX. We added Constellation Software, Corel, Logibec, Bridgewater Systems, and Redline Communications, which are either recent IPOs or names brought to our attention as missing from the Index. RIM represents almost 80% of the capitalization of the entire Canadian technology sector, and 92% of the sector capitalization is represented by the top 10 companies. We note that challenging capital markets are likely to increase the pace of attrition while reducing the rate of IPOs.
