Bachman Upgrades Seagate Technology (STX) to OUTPERFORM from MARKET PERFORM

Keith Bachman, senior research analyst covering Enterprise Hardware & Imaging, has today upgraded Seagate Technology (STX) to an OUTPERFORM rating from MARKET PERFORM.

From Bachman's note: "The reasons for our upgrade are 1) stabilization in the PC market, 2) improved hard drive industry conditions, 3) STX’s products reaching parity with potential to reach product leadership, 4) upside tension to our estimates, primarily in gross margins, and 5) reasonable valuation."
